"Five Minutes of Fame"

In the summer of 2022, Giovanna Engelbert, the Creative Director of Swarovski, asked me to create flowing corporate gift ribbon fascinators for their upcoming Christmas campaign…on a completely secret mission, without knowing how the whole thing would turn out in the end.

So it was also a surprise for me that Bella Hadid would be seen in one of the photos wearing a hat made by me. The reactions to this picture were extraordinary.

My loyal customers and followers congratulated me on the job – I was incredibly happy about that. And then there were messages, comments, and pats on the back from neighbors, non-customers, and silent followers, from whom I had the feeling that they now found me interesting because a supermodel was wearing one of my hats. The price of fame, I guess, haha!
